The short answer is Yes and No. Before we deep dive into this, we want to preface this by highly recommending you (the consumer) to conduct independent research in addition to reading our blog. There is a stigma surrounding replica & factory style wheels that definitely causes a dilemma for consumers looking to purchase a new set of wheels. The dilemma is whether they should buy the factory style wheels and save a couple of hundred dollars OR buy OEM wheels for a much higher price. Some consumers are turned off by replica wheels because they assume they are "fake" and are extremely quick to judge its quality without ever trying it. However, the reality is that replica & factory style wheels are legitimate replacement parts that functions and looks similar to the OEM product. It can definitely be a hard decision for the average uninformed consumer.

In our opinion, we believe the build quality of some factory style wheels are up to par and sometimes even stronger than OEM wheels. However, we also believe that NOT all replica or factory style wheels are created equal. What we mean by this is that many sellers (not us) choose to sell cheap low-quality products that are not safe for the consumer. What consumers need to be careful of are the gravity casted wheels which is the cheapest manufacturing option available and unfortunately many sellers will not reveal that information. We believe by being transparent with our customers, we can boost their confidence in purchasing with us. We can confidently say that our wheels are made from low-pressure casting. For those of you who do not know, many OEM wheels from manufacturers are also made by using the same low-pressure cast method.

OEM wheels are held to a manufacturing standard and our factory style wheels are no different. Our wheels are held to a different but similarly high manufacturing standards to meet the rigorous activities and conditions that wheels go through on a day-to-day basis. There are many wheels on the market that DO NOT meet any of these standards which is a very dangerous path to go down if you purchase from a shady seller.
